Aviation Crew

Aviation Crew

The LifeFlight of Maine aviation team is made up of helicopter (rotor wing) pilots, airplane (fixed wing) pilots, and aviation maintenance technicians. Together, they keep the LifeFlight aircraft operating safely and efficiently so they are ready at a moment’s notice to transport a patient.

LifeFlight aviation crews must maintain annual training and education competencies in all aspects of critical care medical transport, exceeding 150 hours annually.
