LifeFlight Emergency Care Open Golf Tournament
Online Registration Is Now Full. Please email Ashley MacMillan (email@example.com) for more information about remaining registrations spots.
Each summer, we hold the LifeFlight Emergency Care Open, a lively golf tournament that raises funds for our clinical education programs, which benefits the flight crew as well as emergency medical providers across the state.
The tournament will be held on June 20, 2022, at the Waterville Country Club with a 9 am shotgun start. Be sure to register early as this event usually sells out in May. Join us for a day of friendly competition, food, and prizes while supporting a great cause!
The key to high-quality critical care in a largely rural environment like Maine is a strong network of emergency medical providers, from the first responder to the specialty physician at an urban medical center. The network includes public safety officers, dispatchers, EMTs, and paramedics, as well as nurses and physicians in emergency rooms at small community hospitals. Advanced education and frequent training help strengthen that network of providers.
LifeFlight of Maine is committed to ensuring that its medical crew maintains a high level of clinical proficiency through ongoing education and training. Crew members also provide training to emergency medical providers across the state, resulting in a system that continues to become more skilled and more synergistic.
