Community Giving Program Expands in 2024
Every year, LifeFlight reaches out to Maine communities to ask for their support. There are 465 municipalities in Maine, and this tends to be the time of year when many of them hold meetings to make decisions about the organizations and services they will support.
One way you can support LifeFlight is by going to your next town meeting and encouraging your town council to support LifeFlight of Maine. Simply share with them why you think LifeFlight is vital to your community, or tell your LifeFlight story. If you can’t make the meeting, send your town councilor an email or make a quick phone call.

Since 1998, 272 towns in Maine have made donations to LifeFlight totaling $916,062. So far this fiscal year, 175 communities have contributed $118,036. Many communities contribute generously year after year. We are grateful for Penobscot, Wade, St. Albans, Arundel, Monson, Gilead, Belmont, and Farmingdale as new donors in our Community Giving Program. See if your town is among our list of supporters!
