LifeFlight of Maine Mentorship Program
Applications for 2026 are now closed.
We are finishing up our inaugural year of the LifeFlight of Maine Mentorship Program and are excited to open up applications for our 2026 cohort. We are looking for dedicated and driven RNs and Paramedics who are interested in learning more about LifeFlight and the skills needed to become a member of our clinical team.

About the Program
The program spans the 2026 calendar year, offering quarterly in-person education days, one-on-one mentorship with a current LifeFlight crew member during and beyond the length of the program, and the opportunity to accompany flight crews on clinical observation shifts.
Education days cover various topics and skills related to critical care transport. Possible topics include EKG interpretation, clinical case reviews, airway management, lab interpretation and treatment, and an introduction to LifeFlight protocols and procedures.
With current LifeFlight clinicians serving as mentors, the goal is to build a relationship in which mentees can share clinical experiences, ask questions, and obtain guidance to further clinical expertise in preparation for future employment opportunities with LifeFlight of Maine.
