NAMI Helpline
Call 800-464-5767, ext. 1 — The NAMI Helpline is a safe and confidential mental health service for peers, law enforcement, professionals, friends and family members. It provides support, education and advocacy for anyone with questions about mental health concerns. The NAMI Helpline is available Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Domestic Violence Support

Sexual Assault Crisis Support

International Peer Support Warm Line
Call 1-866-771-WARM (9276) — This warm line is available toll-free from anywhere in Maine, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It is a mental health peer-to-peer phone support program offering mutual conversations with a trained specialist who has life experience with mental health and/or substance use issues and recovery. The focus is to encourage and foster recovery, moving toward wellness and reconnecting with community.

Alcoholics Anonymous
Call 1-800-737-6237 — During business hours, your call will be taken by a member of Alcoholics Anonymous who knows exactly what you are going through and can give you all the information you need. At night, there is a well-qualified answering service that can give meeting information or put you in touch with a person in your area recovering from alcohol use disorder who is available to talk with you about how to get help.
