Project Updates
October 6, 2025 – Project Updates
Team,
Earlier this month, we shared that we are beginning a transition to a new IT Managed Service Provider. This message is a follow-up with the latest updates on where we are today and what you can expect next.
Project Status
- Work is underway to set up new internet and network connections. You may notice outside technicians being escorted through the building as part of this process.
- The internet installation is a key milestone. Once it is complete, we will be able to finalize the rollout timeline for new devices.
- New computers and devices will be distributed in phases — not everyone will receive their new gear at the same time.
- During the transition, some staff may temporarily have access to two devices (new and old). The goal is to use the new equipment primarily, but the existing Northern Light Health equipment will remain available if needed.
Action Items

- Tickets will first be reviewed internally, then assigned to the right resources for resolution.
- Your main point of contact for IT concerns remains Cindy Minoty.
What’s Next
- Once internet setup is complete, we will share the phased rollout schedule for new devices.
- Training and education will be provided to help staff get comfortable with the new systems.
- Additional updates will follow as milestones are reached.
- Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we work toward a smoother, more reliable IT environment.
If you have any questions about this information, the IT transition at LifeFlight, or IT in general, please reach out to Cindy Minoty.
September 3, 2025 – IT Project Announcement
Team,
We are beginning an important project to transition from our current IT Managed Service Provider from Northern Light Health to S.J. Rollins Technologies, Inc. Below is an overview of what this means, why it’s happening, and what you can expect.
What is happening?
- We are transitioning to a new IT Managed Service Provider, S.J. Rollins Technologies.
This project will include, but is not limited to:
- Internet service provider change
- Replacement of NLH-owned hardware (laptops, computers, printers, and some mobile devices)
- Updating system access
- Implementing new policies tailored to our organization
- Evaluation of website security policies
A parallel build may be used temporarily, which could mean having two devices or logins for a short period of time. This will be kept to a minimum.
When is this happening?
The development of this project is now underway. A full project schedule will be shared in upcoming communications. No changes will be rolled out without prior notice, and so it is important that you carefully review future communications related to this IT transition.
Why are we doing this?
- To provide our organization with a nimbler IT support structure.
- To streamline systems, tools, and services for improved efficiency.
- To implement policies and support structures that are specific to our organizational needs.
Why does this matter to you?
- You may need to complete certain actions (e.g., hardware exchange, login updates) within requested timeframes.
- Your cooperation will be essential to ensuring a smooth transition.Day-to-day work will remain largely unaffected.
How will this work?
- You will receive clear, timely communications before any changes occur.
- Requested actions must be completed promptly to avoid disruption.
- Project questions can be directed to the Project Manager, Christie Bane, via email at pepllcme@gmail.com.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Please stay alert for upcoming communications with more detailed timelines and next steps. Together, we’ll ensure this transition is successful and minimally disruptive to your daily work.
