Rachel has ascended at JAX into leadership through her outstanding work performance, her incredible productivity, her driving commitment to continual learning and her volunteerism. She is a graduate of both Leadership Maine and Institute for Civic Leadership (ICL), and therefore has a connection to MDF and a wide alumni network. She is a Fire Instructor for the Hancock County Fire Academy, a volunteer firefighter and has a passion for emergency response and medical services. Rachel is also a Senior Member of the Downeast Squadron of the Maine Civil Air Patrol.

Rachel will be a great liaison representing local life and interests on MDI island and representing The Jackson Laboratory.
