Dayana Krawchuk

Dayana is a PhD-level geneticist who achieved a successful academic career before pivoting to a science communications role at The Jackson Laboratory (JAX) in Bar Harbor, Maine. Dayana led the JAX social media marketing team for eight years, making short videos explaining science to lay audiences with compelling, energetic content. As the Associate Director of Faculty and Visitor Relations she endeavors to increase faculty and researcher engagement both internally and externally, collaborating with colleagues in government affairs, communications, advancement and PR to spread the word about groundbreaking JAX research.
