David has 30+ years of experience in private and public sector management and consulting positions. For the past 16 years, with Booz Allen Hamilton, David has specialized in real property and infrastructure portfolio management, consulting to multiple US government agencies including the National Park Service, the U.S. Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Geological Survey, and other defense and civil clients. Prior to Booz Allen David has an additional 14+ years as a senior manager in travel & tourism, culminating as General Manager of Active New Zealand, an adventure tourism company, leading and operating teams, logistics, and facilities in three countries.

David and his wife, Mary, live in Pemaquid, ME from May to October and the Shenandoah mountains of Virginia for the remainder of the year, and are passionate outdoors people. David is an avid woodworker, boater and a private pilot, skilled in mountain flying from his time living in New Zealand. David and Mary are committed philanthropists, experienced in organizing and hosting fundraising events as well as managing their own philanthropic fund, The Aoteoroa Fund, to support community strengthening initiatives and conserving natural resources in Maine and Virginia.
